The ClimaAir system comprises a probe which is inserted into the centre of the pipe through an in-situ ball valve, coupled with a hand-held display unit. The 'business end' of the ClimaAir probe is a precision laser cut turbine, mounted on sapphire bearings to ensure accurate measurement of air velocity. The probe also incorporates a PT100 temperature sensor and an absolute pressure transmitter.

The ClimaOil package is built around a highly accurate precision, laser cut turbine, mounted on sapphire bearings - with three versions to monitor flows from 6-60 l/min, 15-300 l/min and 60-600 l/min in oils with a range of viscosities. The turbine also incorporates a 0-600 bar pressure transducer and a 0-120°C temperature sensor, and comes built into a section of pipe offering 0.5in, 1in or 1.5in BSP connections.

Providing a highly cost-effective solution where other techniques fail, or where they are too time consuming to be viable, the AccuTrak can detect pinhole leaks right down to 1psi, and is suitable for use with any pressurised gas from any system. The same instrument can even pinpoint vacuum leaks, yet costs under £400.
